TVS the Hosur based 2 Wheeler Company has started exporting its premium lineup to UAE starting with Dubai. The company has announced a new partnership with Al Yousuf MC a subsidiary of Al Yousuf LLC, in the UAE. This is the first TVS company to launch this product in the region. The company apart from offering the premium 2 wheelers would also provide services such as repairs and spare parts.
TVS motors have gone with a wide range of products in the UAE via the new partner. The first and foremost is Apache RR310, Apache 200 4V, the Apache RTR 160 4V, and Apache RTR 180 race edition. This is a good bouquet to cater to the middle-eastern market and specifically to the market in the UAE.
Speaking about expanding its reach in the UAE, R Dilip, Executive Vice President – International Business, TVS Motor Company, said:
We are delighted to expand our presence in the UAE market with Al Yousuf MC. They have rich experience in the region and share our ethos of keeping customers at the center of our offerings. The marquee showroom inaugurated here in Dubai will help us consolidate our presence in the region. The showroom, which demonstrates our commitment to the market, will host products across segments and fulfill the diverse requirements of customers in the region.
Elaborating the importance of the location of the outlet, R Dilip further added:
Its strategic location in the prominent automobile hub of Dubai and the solid service and spare support will help make a positive impact on the market.
This is quite an important strategy to diversify into the international markets as the domestic market which is the primary market is seeing a slowdown. The worst since in a decade. This slowdown has made the automotive sector go down in a downward spiral. The company has strategically targeted the prospective markets and no better time than entering a new market with Dubai being very strategically being placed. The partnership of BMW Motorrad with TVS motors has brought great dividends especially to the latter in improving the quality leaps and bounds plus adding newer higher displacement engines from the BMW Motorrad stable. This may end up reducing stress on the revenue streams from the domestic slowdown.
