The countries across the globe have closed their borders to arrivals from China, in order to prevent the spread of the deadly corona virus. The US and Australia have decided to restrict the entry to all the foreign visitors who had been in China recently. Earlier, the countries such as Japan, Pakistan, Russia, and Italy have announced the same travel restrictions.

The entry from all the foreign nationals have been banned by the US, who visited China in the recent days. The citizens and residents of the US that are arriving from Hubei province are to be quarantined for 14 days.
Australia announced a similar ban and announced that any of its own citizens returning from China would be quarantined for two weeks.
In addition, there have been various evacuations from China as foreign governments are working for bringing their citizens back.

- Around 100 Germans arrived in Frankfurt the same day.
- Thailand is set to evacuate its citizens in the coming days.
- Russia will evacuate several hundred of its nationals on 2nd and 3rd February. In addition, the country has halted visa-free tourism for Chinese nationals.
Countries that are evacuating citizens are to quarantine their citizens for two weeks for monitoring them for symptoms and for avoiding contagion.

- Vietnam Airlines suspended all flights to China, Hong Kong and Taiwan
- Other airlines, including Qantas, Air New Zealand, Air Canada and British Airways, cancelled or scaled back flights
- Hotel chains, such as Hyatt, Radisson and Hilton, extended their cancellation policies for guests travelling to China
- Apple said it would temporarily close its stores in China
- The UK announced to pull dozens of Foreign Office staff out of the mainland
- Russia said two Chinese citizens had been placed in isolation after they tested positive for the virus
