Artificial Intelligence or precisely, the AI, is a set of algorithms that guides the system to respond in the same mechanism as of a human’s mind and that’s why named as ‘Artificial Intelligence’. The power of AI has apparently influenced almost every domain right from the healthcare, education, automotive, recreation and household applications to even the highly challenging realms as combat assistance in the defense systems of various nations. The developed nations like the US and Japan have already pioneered in this relay and thus added more power to their overall economy. On the other hand, there are a handful of developing nations like India that are progressively moving towards the aura of AI thereby realizing the importance of AI. A research conducted by Accenture Strategy and Accenture Applied Intelligence named, ‘AI: Built to Scale’ to derive the insights into the top exec’ perspective about the AI’s dominance.
Talking about the findings, the study revealed that 79% of C-level executives (C-level as in, chief level) in India strongly agreed that without scaling AI they might witness a failure to their respective business strategies. Whereas, only a few of such executives have made the shift from mere experimentation to creating an organization powered by strong AI capabilities. The executives belonging to the nearly 80% category even confessed that the failure to aggressively deploy AI into their premises may pose a major risk of going out of business by 2025. It is worth mentioning- there have been several studies conducted that unanimously believe that the functioning of AI is majorly dependent on the quality and the relevance of the data it is fed into the system. The concept is simultaneously associated with the base concepts of Machine Learning and Deep Learning that works on the patterns derived out of data. The geographic unit and country senior managing director of Accenture (India), Anindya Basu said, “Those who push through the barriers to embed AI more deeply in their organization are seeing a return on their AI investment of 70% or more”.
